A few things families have found useful lately, from across SENDBridge.

Why I created SENDBridge

SENDBridge was founded by a parent and carer who knows first-hand how isolating, confusing and overwhelming navigating SEND support can be — the referrals, the waiting lists, the paperwork, and the days that feel impossible.

It was built so that no family has to piece everything together alone. Here you can find trusted information, keep track of what matters, and connect with other parents and carers who are walking the same road — so you feel heard, supported and connected, not lost in the system.

New to SEND? Start Here

If you are worried about your child's learning, behaviour, communication or wellbeing, it can be hard to know what to do first. Open whichever of these is helpful. Take it at your own pace.

Already checked and waiting for you here

Our directory lists national organisations and local services, including SENDIASS, IPSEA, Contact and the Council for Disabled Children, with their websites and phone numbers. The resource library has free guides, including the SEND Code of Practice, and our accessibility guide covers RADAR keys and Changing Places toilets.

A community that looks after each other

SENDBridge is intended to be a supportive, respectful space. Abuse, hate, harassment and spam are not welcome here and never will be. Content that breaks our guidelines is removed, and accounts can be restricted — so you can share honestly without worrying about what you'll find.

No online community can promise complete safety or privacy, and we would rather be honest with you than pretend otherwise. What we can promise is moderation, reporting and blocking, clear guidelines, and a small team that acts when something is flagged.

An adult-only community

SENDBridge is built for the adults supporting a child, not for children to use themselves. Everyone here has confirmed they are 18 or over.

Reporting, blocking and moderation

Every post, comment and message can be reported, and you can block another member. A small team reviews anything flagged and acts on it.

Private by default

Your name, email and anything you record about your child stay private to your account. Nothing personal is shown on a public page.

Free, always

Always free for families, with no subscriptions or membership fees. Limited adverts may appear to visitors browsing the public website, but never inside the app or member areas.

SENDBridge on your phone

SENDBridge is being prepared for release as a mobile app for iPhone and Android. There is nothing to download yet. In the meantime, everything works in your phone's browser, so you can use the whole of SENDBridge today without installing anything.
